The pottery shown here is made using a variety of techniques. Some are thrown on the wheel sometimes with press moulded additions, others are slip-cast. Clays used include red earthenware, studio white earthenware and sanded buff. The ware may be decorated with coloured slips, or sprayed with vitreous slip or glazed with anything from a clear or satin finish to a dry barium glaze to achieve the desired effect.
